About
Hi, I’m Emily, founder of The Seaside Studio SW. I’m an HCPC-registered physiotherapist with NHS experience, and I’ve been teaching APPI Pilates for the past six years. I’ve always believed in the power of movement - not just for rehabilitation, but for building strength, confidence and feeling more at home in your body.
Since opening our doors in October 2025, The Seaside Studio has grown into a welcoming community, bringing people together through Pilates, yoga and wellbeing. Celebrating our first year has been such a proud moment, and my aim remains the same: to create a space where you feel supported, can take time for yourself and discover the joy of movement.
JUST FOR YOU
A warm, welcoming place where you can move, breathe, stretch, recover, and reconnect
Originally from Preston, I now live in Stoke Gabriel with my husband, Jimmie, and our two children, Freddie and Bonnie. Life is full and busy, and I know first-hand how important it is to have somewhere to slow down, take a breath and make time for yourself.
That’s why I created The Seaside Studio SW - a warm, welcoming space where you can move, stretch, recover and reconnect. A year on from opening our doors, it’s been wonderful to see that vision grow into a community.
Whether you join us for mat or reformer Pilates, yoga, physiotherapy or one of our wellbeing events, you’ll find expert guidance in a relaxed, friendly setting.
What makes our studio special is its heart: the people who come through our doors, our caring team and the connections made along the way. There’s no pressure to be perfect- you’re welcome exactly as you are.
Our mission remains simple: to help you feel stronger, more balanced and more connected through mindful movement, professional care and kindness.
We’d love to welcome you into our community.
