Reformer Pilates 

Our Reformer Pilates classes use spring-based resistance to build strength, stability, mobility, and body awareness. These sessions offer a supportive yet challenging way to move, with classes available for different abilities, ages, and goals. 

If you are completely new to Reformer Pilates, we ask that you attend Reformer Roots at least once before joining a mixed-level class (such as Seaside Flow). This ensures you feel confident using the equipment and moving with safe, effective technique. 

Reformer Roots (The Foundations) 

A beginner-friendly Reformer Pilates class focused on foundational technique, alignment, and breath control. Perfect for newcomers or anyone returning to the basics, this class helps build core strength, improve posture, and develop body awareness in a supportive environment. 

Seaside Flow (All Levels) 

A versatile Reformer Pilates class suitable for all levels, blending foundational work with dynamic, flowing sequences. This class supports full-body strength, flexibility, and fluid movement, making it ideal for drop-ins or those transitioning between levels. 

Tidal Flow (Building Strength) 

A Reformer Pilates class that emphasises controlled strength-building. Designed for those with some Pilates experience, this session challenges stability, coordination, and endurance while maintaining flow. Not suitable for beginners. 

Bloom Tide (Pregnancy Reformer) 

A tailored Reformer Pilates class designed for pregnancy and led by a qualified physiotherapist. Focused on posture, core stability, gentle strength, and mobility, this class supports the body through all trimesters with expert guidance and thoughtful modifications, helping mums-to-be move safely and confidently. 

Power Tide (Men’s) 

A Reformer Pilates class designed for men seeking strength, endurance, and athletic performance. This session focuses on core power, stability, and functional movement, combining challenging sequences with controlled, flowing exercises for a full-body workout. 

Silver Tide (Over 60s) 

A Reformer Pilates class designed specifically for clients over 60. This class combines gentle strength, flexibility, balance, and core stability while moving at a safe, controlled pace. 

Rising Tide (Teen Reformer) 

A fun, energising Reformer Pilates class for teens aged 13–17, led by Emily, a Paediatric Physiotherapist. This class focuses on building strength, confidence, coordination, and body awareness in a safe, supportive environment. 


Private & Small Group Sessions 

We also offer 1:1, 2:1, and private group Reformer Pilates sessions. Please use our contact button for more information or to enquire about availability. 


Important Studio Policy 

Reformer Pilates classes (with the exception of Bloom Tide – Pregnancy Reformer) are not suitable during pregnancy or early postnatal recovery (before your GP or postnatal check). Attendance while pregnant without prior disclosure is against studio policy. 


Grip Socks 

For hygiene and safety, grip socks are required for all Reformer Pilates classes

You’re welcome to bring your own, or you can purchase Melisoles grip socks at the studio for £12.50 (RRP £15)
