Sweden is calling...

13–17 March 2027 | Sweden | 4 Night

Four nights. Sixteen women. One extraordinary adventure.

Imagine swapping the everyday for snow-covered forests, endless Arctic skies and the possibility of watching the Northern Lights dance overhead.

Days filled with adventure. Evenings spent sharing stories and laughter. Moments that push you a little outside your comfort zone, alongside opportunities to slow down, reconnect and simply take it all in.

This isn't your typical wellness retreat.

There are no five-star hotels, luxury suites or fancy spas. Instead, we're bringing together incredible Arctic experiences, movement, connection and a little Seaside magic.

We've teamed up with Arctic adventure specialists Pole to Pole to create an unforgettable women-only escape to Swedish Lapland.

Whether you're joining us with a friend or coming on your own, this is your invitation to do something extraordinary.

Because sometimes the best memories are made when we step outside our comfort zones.

Your Arctic Adventure

Wild adventures. Beautiful connections. A little Seaside magic.

Over five incredible days, we'll experience the magic of the Swedish wilderness, combining exhilarating outdoor adventures with Pilates, yoga, sound, journalling and moments of relaxation.

From snowshoeing across frozen lakes and learning to ski through snowy forests to running your own husky team and warming up in a traditional Swedish sauna, every day brings something new.

And woven throughout it all? Our Seaside wellness experiences, thoughtfully designed to balance the excitement of adventure with moments to pause, breathe and reconnect.

Your Home in the Arctic

Back to basics. Big on adventure.

Forget five-star hotels and luxury spa resorts. This adventure is all about embracing something a little different.

For four nights, we'll be staying at Pole to Pole's Arctic Training Academy, a former primary school that has been transformed into a base for Arctic adventures.

Our accommodation is simple, practical and expedition-style, giving us a real taste of life in the Arctic.

We'll be sharing two dormitories, each sleeping eight guests in single beds, with shared bathroom facilities.

There are no private rooms or ensuite facilities.

Instead, think cosy evenings, stories from the day's adventures, laughter with new friends and the excitement of waking up somewhere completely different.

It's not luxury accommodation, and that's exactly the point.

This is about the experiences outside our accommodation, the friendships formed inside it and the memories we'll take home.

Meet Your Seaside Hosts

Three familiar faces. One unforgettable adventure.

🤍 Emily – Founder of The Seaside Studio

Emily will be hosting your Arctic escape, bringing the same welcoming, supportive and community-focused atmosphere you've come to know and love at The Seaside Studio.

🤍 Abi – Mat Pilates Instructor

Abi will be bringing her love of Pilates to the Arctic, guiding movement sessions designed to stretch, strengthen and reconnect with your body.

🤍 Ashleigh – Yoga & Sound Instructor

Ashleigh will be bringing moments of calm to our adventure through yoga, sound, mindful movement and relaxation.

Together, we'll be there to welcome you, support you and share every unforgettable moment.

This is an adventure retreat, not a luxury escape - We'll be staying in basic, shared dormitory accommodation at Pole to Pole's Arctic Training Academy, with eight single beds per room and shared bathroom facilities.

Think less luxury hotel, more authentic Arctic adventure!

It's going to be cold!- March in Swedish Lapland can bring extremely low temperatures, snow and icy conditions. You'll need suitable winter clothing and footwear to stay warm and comfortable.

You don't need previous experience- You don't need to have tried snowshoeing, backcountry skiing or dog sledding before. Pole to Pole's experienced team will provide introductions and guidance. However, you should be comfortable with outdoor physical activity, uneven or snowy terrain and cold-weather conditions.

Outdoor wellness depends on the weather- We'd love to enjoy Pilates on a frozen lake, yoga overlooking the snowy landscape and sound experiences outdoors.

These will only take place where conditions are suitable and safe, with indoor alternatives available.

The Northern Lights are never guaranteed- We'll be keeping everything crossed for a spectacular display, but the aurora is a natural phenomenon and sightings depend on the conditions.

Our itinerary is provisional- The exact order and timings of activities may change depending on weather, ice and snow conditions, flight arrangements and safety requirements.

Coming on your own? - Please do! This retreat is designed to be welcoming whether you're travelling with a friend or joining us solo. There'll be plenty of opportunities to connect with the group.

Health and accessibility - Some Arctic activities can be physically demanding. If you have any health conditions, mobility requirements or concerns about participating, please contact us before booking so we can discuss suitability with Pole to Pole.

Don't worry, you won't need to buy a whole new Arctic wardrobe!

You'll just need a few essentials to keep you warm and comfortable throughout the adventure:

  • Warm, supportive footwear: Hiking boots or snow boots that are warm, waterproof and provide good ankle support.

  • Plenty of warm layers: Think fleeces, hoodies, long-sleeved tops and thermal layers that you can easily add or remove.

Cold-weather coats will be provided, although you're more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

We'll send you a specific packing list once you've booked, so you'll know exactly what to bring and what will be provided.

For now, all you need is your sense of adventure! 🤍

We anticipate that the majority of our guests will be travelling from Devon, so we've been looking into the most convenient and affordable flight options.

Our recommended flight route is London → Stockholm → Umeå Airport.

Flights from Heathrow currently appear to offer the best combination of convenience and value, with return flights costing approximately £200 per person. Prices are subject to availability and may change.

Arriving in Sweden

Our recommended arrival airport is Umeå Airport, approximately 90 minutes from our Arctic accommodation.

Once we have everyone's confirmed flight details and arrival times, we'll coordinate with Pole to Pole to confirm the group airport transfer arrangements and collection point. Group airport transfers are included in your retreat package.

Travelling from Devon?

As we expect many of our guests to be travelling from Devon, we're also happy to explore organising a shared coach or minibus transfer to London Airport.

This would be an optional extra, with the cost shared between those wishing to travel together. It's a lovely opportunity to start the adventure before we even reach Sweden!

Before booking your flights: Please wait until we have confirmed the recommended flight times and transfer arrangements before making any non-refundable travel bookings. We'll be in touch with further guidance to help everyone plan their journey as smoothly as possible.

We can't wait to begin our Arctic adventure together! 🇸🇪❄️
